Metallica: This band formed in 1981 in San Francisco and has now become one of the greatest selling metal bands of all time. They have sold an estimated amount of 100 million albums worldwide in the span of their carear and have been active for more than 30 years. Every year the band has been touring with the exception of 2002 when the band took time apart to keep each other from snapping on one another. Since then they have regained their status and has been constantly been raking in more fame as the years go on. They have been and will be one of my favourite bands of all time and also one of the greatest bands of all time, and thats why they deserve to be on this page.
